TIMESSIDOARJO, JAKARTA – Although a person's height affected by the genetics and heredity, it doesn't mean there are no other factors. Apparently there is simple tip to increase height using healthy foods. You just need to consume it.

The followings are some foods that can increase height, reported from Boldsky.

1. Raspberry

Raspberry is rich in melatonin which can increase the release of human growth hormone by up to 157 percent. This study shows that melatonin stimulates the pituitary gland which in turn triggers the secretion of growth hormones in the body that help to increase height. Raspberry is also an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese and fiber.

2. Eggs

Eggs are another food that can increase growth hormone production because of choline substances, a water-soluble vitamin. This vitamin is a precursor for the acetylcholine neurotransmitter which can increase your height and body's strength at the same time.

According to a study in 2008 published in the International Society of Sports Nutrition Journal, choline is also an important nutrient needed for cell signaling, cell regulation, bone formation, and lipid transport.

3. Dairy products

Dairy products such as cheese, milk and yoghurt all contain essential minerals such as vitamin A, calcium, vitamin E, vitamin D, and vitamin B. Milk contains all nine essential amino acids that help cell growth and are considered as complete protein foods. High levels of amino acids in dairy products play a major role in triggering the natural production of human growth hormone.

4. Chicken and beef

As similar to eggs, chicken and beef contain high protein which makes it a protein-rich food. Chicken and beef help in building tissues and muscles and encourage the secretion of human growth hormones.

Chicken is rich in l-arginine, an amino acid that has been studied as a stimulator of growth hormone secretion. Beef, on the other hand, contains amino acids that synthesize l-ornithine which increases growth hormone levels four times.

5. Fatty fish

Fatty fish such as salmon and tuna are full of protein and vitamin D. Protein is a body building's material that helps to build tissue and increase height. Protein contains all the essential of amino acids known to increase growth hormone and it is also important for maintaining strong bones, tissues, muscles, organs, skin, and teeth.

6. Soybeans

Soybeans are healthy foods that are full of nutrients. It can increase your height if taken every day because of the amino acid l-arginine. This increases your growth hormone levels by stimulating the pituitary hormone. Soybeans can also increase bone mass density and tissue. (*)
